Interplay is a New York City-based venture capital firm focused on investing in technology-enabled businesses across Seed, Series A and Series B. We invest in founders building exceptional companies across B2B software, marketplace, and consumer internet verticals in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Israel.

We are a global innovation platform and spent the first 5 years of the firm’s life co-founding service companies to help startups scale and support the innovation ecosystem. Our services platform supports over 10% of all venture-backed companies in America today and we currently employ over 500 people.

Interplay is looking for a BD/IR Partner to help develop and execute strategic investor relations plan to communicate the company’s strategy and progress to the investment community.

With the mission of accelerating humankind’s potential by streamlining the journey of the entrepreneur, Interplay is an ecosystem where ideas scale. In other words, we build business lines that help founders be more successful in order to maximize their long-term impact on society.

There are a number of dimensions to the firm:

• On the studio side of the firm, we operate a foundry, an incubator, and service companies.
• On the capital side of the firm, we operate a multi-family office, a venture fund, and we make secondary investments.
• This person will be leading the effort to scale our capital base for both existing and future investment products.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a well-connected, enthusiastic professional to scale our investor relations & business development function. This person will work closely with the other partners at Interplay.

The Partner will be responsible for scaling the operation processes, overseeing core administrative processes, sourcing and evaluating potential LPs, and engaging with existing LPs.

They will also help define our financial product lines. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about finance, is a life-long learner, and enjoys meeting new people.
